今回は滞在期間が長めであったため、ホテルから街へ何度か買出しに出かけた。
こちらでは想像できない位の広さの水田が広がっており、見渡す限り、金色の稲穂が風にたなびいていた。美しいまでも情緒的な日本の夏の一風景だった。
僕はあの風景を一生忘れないだろう。
